Tools that leave you more capable than they found you.

A growing collection of focused applications for work, information, and knowledge—designed to be useful, legible, and yours.

Our Ethos

Software Should Increase Human Capability, Not Dependency.

Alchymista is an evolving collection of mini applications built around a simple idea: Good software should give people more control over their work, information and knowledge.

Modern software increasingly assumes that everything should live in the cloud, every product should become a service, and every problem should be handed to artificial intelligence. Alchymista explores a different direction.

AI can be extraordinarily useful, but it is one tool among many. Sometimes the best solution is AI. Sometimes it is a deterministic process, a well-designed interface, a local database, a simple algorithm, or a small application that performs one task extremely well.

That philosophy shapes how Alchymista applications are designed. They are generally intended to be:

  • Useful before impressive.
  • Understandable rather than mysterious.
  • Local-first and offline-capable where practical.
  • Designed to preserve user ownership of information.
  • Built from reusable components rather than unnecessary complexity.
  • Able to combine human judgement, deterministic software and AI where each works best.
  • Designed so users can understand what the software is doing and remain in control of the result.

The name Alchymista reflects the idea behind the project: combining existing ingredients in new ways to create something more useful.

Documents can become structured knowledge. Images can become stories. Repetitive processes can become tools. AI conversations can become durable information. Small pieces of software can become a personal collection of capabilities.

This store is where those experiments become usable applications.

Not AI for everything. Not software for its own sake. Tools designed to make people more capable.
